17th-Lt. Col. Anthony Gomez, Deputy Director-Michigan State Police - National Incident Management Systems
       -Located in Finch 100, Mount Pleasant, MI at 6:00p.m.
       -The National Incident Management Systems (NIMS) which is overseen by the        Secretary of Homeland Security was developed so responders from different jurisdictions and disciplines can work together better to respond to natural disasters and emergencies, including acts of terrorism.
       -Lt. Col. Gomez will explain the NIMS system and its impact on Event Management providing students with a broad overview of strategic planning initiatives that should be included during the planning phase of Special Events.
